Flush mount ceiling lights are a great choice for nearly any area, especially the rooms with low ceilings. When choosing flush mount lights, the size of your room is the first point to consider. Also, be sure the style, color and metallic accents of the light are well-suited for your space.

1. For ceiling heights of 8' or less where people walk underneath the light, you don't have much choice other than a flush mount ceiling light.

2. If you need general illumination (sometimes called "ambient light"), flush or semi-flush are good choices to brighten an entire room.

3. Flush lights and semi flush lights are ideal for lighting closets, bedrooms, hallways, entry ways and bathrooms.

4. Semi flush mount fixtures are used more for dining areas too, please do remember to add more than 1 light based on your dining area size so to provide enough lighting.
